NONLINEAR CHEMISTRY, AND POSSIBLE ENTROPY DECREASE IN PROCESS ENGINEERING

First, based on some basic problems in modern chemistry, the nonlinear chemistry is discussed. Next, we propose entropy decrease in isolated system of chemistry, and calculate quantitatively entropy decrease by the known formulas for some ordering phenomena. Third, we research possible entropy decrease in process engineering, as two examples Dujiangyan (都江堰) and Yuenyang Terrace (元阳梯田) in China are exemplary models of sustainable development. Final, chemistry and process engineering do not always tend toward disorder, entropy decrease is possible.
